DetailsThis one-of-a-kind, terracotta planter features my signature side vent that allows easy bottom watering and provides air circulation to prevent root-rot.
This style planter is good for all plants. Instead of having just a few holes at the bottom of a traditional planter for drainage, my planters feature a side vent with multiple holes that allow for air flow.
The holes in the vent allow for bottom watering, which is the preferred method for finicky plants like African Violets (fuzzy leaves that don't like to get wet) and String-of-Pearls (delicate stems prone to mildew).
How to use:
*Plant as you normally would in the large side of the planter.
*To water, slowly pour water into the vent until it fills.
*Allow the water to be absorbed into the bottom roots.
*If it absorbs too quickly, add another pour of water.
*If you over-water, excess water can be easily drained off through the vent.
